Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She grew up listening mostly to classical music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas, and every form of drama. She began singing and learning music with her mother, she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
